Silent Night: Jesus Is Our Peace

Silent Night: Jesus Is Our Peace

Week 4 – Jeff Maness – December 24th, 2017

Peace is not the way many of us would describe our lives. We are often busy, overwhelmed, unprepared and afraid. In this Christmas Eve message, we look at how the our circumstances might be out of control, but our souls can be given peace!

Silent Night: Peace

John 14:27 27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

Mark 4:39-40 39 When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. 40 Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Matthew 14:27 27 But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!”

Isaiah 1:3 Even an ox knows its owner, and a donkey recognizes its master’s care— but Israel doesn’t know its master. My people don’t recognize my care for them.
